On November 19th, join us for tea as we discuss the importance of language in health settings. We will also talk about the most frequent organizational barriers and discuss simple and concrete solutions for improving patient safety and experience.

This free event will be held in English.

Meet our keynote speaker

Vanessa Sigouin

Vanessa Sigouin has been with Salus Ottawa since 2004, serving as a program manager leading French and English community case management support services. She holds a Master’s degree in psychoeducation and has extensive expertise in developing and implementing high-quality programs that support clients with severe and persistent mental illness in maintaining housing and rebuilding their lives.

As Chair of Salus’ French Services Committee, Vanessa advocates for accessible, high-quality French-language care. She is committed to inclusive, client-centred services and supporting staff to deliver programs that meet the diverse needs of the community.
